This premium variety is very rare. We spent years trying to find it. Seeds are not available commercially in the U.S. as far as we know.

The plants are similar to other white fruiting varieties for vigor. The plants tend to be productive both in number of fruit and weight of fruit per plant.

And, yes, the flavor of the fruit does have a hint of pineapple when fully ripe. We really like the fruit from this variety. A couple of years ago when we were still growing fruit commercially we grew this variety exclusively as our white variety due to its flavor and productivity. It will be a welcome addition to your alpine strawberry garden.
